© Rockstar Games/Rockstar North

According to industry analysts, Grand Theft Auto 5 is on target to sell a whopping 14 million copies at launch.
Stern Agee’s Arvind Bhatia has forecast that the game will generate US$700 million in revenue for publisher Take-Two Interactive, and will be released before the end of its financial year on March 31, 2013.
The game’s predecessor Grand Theft Auto 4 shipped 13 million units in its first year, and has gone on to sell more than 20 million units worldwide.

Arvind Bhatia had previously predicted a March 2013 release for the game, however Rockstar seem to like releasing games in May — Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption were all released during the month of May.

HITMAN: ABSOLUTION - SNIPER CHALLENGE behind the scenes video

© IO Interactive
IO Interactive has released a new video that sheds some light on Hitman: Absolution Sniper Challenge.
The video takes us behind the scenes and reveals a glimpse and what the development team hope to accomplish with the bonus pre-order game.
Hitman: Sniper Challenge is not part of the main game, but a stand-alone experience to reward fans who pre-order Hitman: Absolution.
Players can don the suit of Agent 47 as he takes on an exclusive assassination assignment. From a balcony overlooking a rooftop gathering, players will be tasked with taking out Richard Strong, Jr., CEO of Stallion Armaments, along with his entire staff of bodyguards.

Skilled players will capitalize on score multipliers, hidden secrets, unlock equipment upgrades and marvel at the many creative ways one can discretely dispose of a body while they work to fulfil their contract in the most efficient way possible.
“Agent 47 is the best in the business so it seemed appropriate to create the best pre-order reward possible for our fans,” said Jon Brooke, Brand Director of the Hitman Franchise. “Hitman: Sniper Challenge is a way of thanking customers and giving them a taste of Agent 47’s skills from the moment they pre-order the game.”
Hitman: Absolution hits PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on 20 November.
