Activision has revealed a new gameplay trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man.
The latest video executive producer Brant Nicholas showcases the game’s Web Rush mechanic, the Spidey equivalent of “Bullet Time”, which gives Spider-Man a few extra seconds to make tactical decisions in the game.
The Amazing Spider-Man is being developed Beenox and will serve as an epilogue story occurring after the events of the upcoming movie reboot. Beenox were also responsible for previous web-slinger inspired titles “Edge of Time” and “Shattered Dimensions”.
The game will be open-world, allowing Spider-Man to swing all over Manhattan and its many wonderful locations.
The Amazing Spider-Man launches this summer to coincide with the cinematic release of the movie of the same name, scheduled to release July 3 worldwide.
The game, meanwhile, will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, 3DS and DS on June 29.
