Capcom projecting big sales for Resident Evil 6
Capcom is predicting sales of seven million for upcoming survival horror sequel Resident Evil 6.
The figure has been revealed as part of the publisher’s predictions for its 2012-13 line-up, though doesn’t include the PC version of the game.
The games predecessor, Resident Evil 5, has currently sold 5.8 million copies worldwide.
Capcom also expects to shift 2 million copies of Devil May Cry, 1.5 million of Dragon Dogma, and 1.4 million copies of Lost Planet 3.
Finally, Lost Planet 3, developed by United Front Games, is forecast to move 1.4 million copies. The game is scheduled to ship in early 2013.
Resident Evil 6 is scheduled to launch on October 2, 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
